Issue 5 New Releases
In this issue we review new releases, figurados, double figurados and American cigars. It being a quiet time of the year for many cigar companies, all the new releases this issue come from Davidoff. All the cigars have been tasted by Cigar Buyer’s chief taster, James Leavey, and are scored out of 10 in six categories: appearance, combustion, draw, flavour, aroma and balance. We have then taken the average of these scores to give a mark out of 10. The highest scoring cigars receive the Editor’s Choice badge.

Beautifully constructed, medium bodied Dominican cigar. Smooth, sweet, elegant and full of character, rather like Edward Sahakian, whose famous London shop recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and is commemorated by this excellent, very rare cigar. |
