Coronas Gordas
Sometimes called a toro and steadily growing in popularity, possibly because it's a slightly longer and chunkier version of the corona and many of today's cigar smokers seem to want more oomph for their money. The corona gorda's traditional measurements are five and five eighths inches by 46 ring gauge; instead of the corona's 40 to 42 ring gauge and about five to five and a half inches in length. Corona gordas of six inches by 50 ring are also available. Some people also call this type of cigar a belicoso, a name which also refers to a cigar shape that tapers towards the closed end and has a pointed head.
