Cubans unphased by Ivan the Terrible

Cuba’s tobacco crop has emerged unscathed from the recent spate of hurricanes, and particularly Hurrrican Ivan.
Habanos production has been unaffected and the next crop will start in normal conditions. Cuba says that a massive emergency operation protected crops from Ivan, which struck in the Pinar del Rio region.
