Bigger & Better

The great and the good of the cigar and tobacco industry will be descending on Nottingham Cricket ground in October.

The Association of Independent Tobacco Specialists exhibition will be the last one before a smoking ban in some form is introduced.

Don Higgins, Association secretary, said a lot of work had been put into the show to attract more people.

He added: “Last year we had 250 people through the door but we are having a huge leaflet campaign in September so we are putting a lot of effort into this show.

“All the big names will be there, Hunters, Loretta, Davidoff and Horizon, as well as smaller companies – some exhibiting for the first time.” A glitzy awards evening, will also be held to honour several of its members with prestigious trophies.
