Montecristo No.4

Montecristo No.4's are better than ever", says Cigar Insider, the online newsletter published by America's Cigar Aficionado magazine, recently blind tasted and rated the Montecristo No.4, the world's biggest selling handmade cigar.

The cigars are judged on appearance, taste, draw, burn and overall appeal, with the No.4 scoring an outstanding 91 out of 100, the highest score achieved by any of the cigars tasted.

Here is what they had to say about the most popular size in the Montecristo range: Tasting notes: "Attractive and golden brown with a nice flat cap and perfect draw. It has cinnamon, wood and leather notes, packing a lot of flavour for a smaller cigar."

The newsletter went on to review its score for the Montecristo No.4 over the past 10 years.
