General gets new home

General Cigar International has appointed Loretta to manage the distribution of the Macanudo brand in the United Kingdom.

Gary Hyams, managing director of Loretta Cigars (pictured left with Bruce Lewis, international business development director of General Cigar International), said: “We feel very privileged indeed to be appointed distributors for such a renowned brand as Macanudo. Certainly it is rare that this kind of opportunity arises, and from talking to our leading retail customers I am very much are of the tremendous respect and value that our key accounts have for this brand.
