Obviously the best way to make the cigar lover in your life happy at Christmas is to buy them more cigars, but there are other things (the accoutrements, the shiny things, the items we like to meddle with) that go with our habit.

There are plenty of accessories we could go into, hip flasks, cigar holders etc, but we thought that we would look at the four main items essential to cigars smoker.

First off there is the essentials like humidors, lights and cutters, and also there is another lovely area of ashtrays.

All of which are indispensable in the home and when travelling with cigars.

Lets start with the more bulky of the items – humidors. No self respecting cigar smoker should really be without one.

If we are honest the humidor is possibly the one piece of home decoration the cigar smoker can get genuinely excited about – different exotic woods, aged leather and various polished finishes – there is nothing more satisfying than opening a well stocked humidor and being wafted with that sweet tobacco leaf and cedar smell.

They also come in all sorts of sizes, ranging from travel ones that hold enough to get you through the journey, to massive walk in humidors holding thousands of cigars.
