One of the world’s best selling miniatures has a new face launched with style

If you are going to repackage something you might as well do it properly and do it with a certain style and glamour.

Henri Wintermans, owner of the famous Café Crème brand, did just this when it was time to unveil the new face of this recognisable mini.

The new clothing can be taken as a sign of confidence, with the mini sector growing and trends indicating that once the smoking ban is introduced in England time-poor cigar smokers may well graduate to something easier to smoke in a 10 minute break. Indeed the premium cigar market is moving towards shorter and fatter cigars to offer aficionados more choice.

Since its launch in 1963, Café Crème has been one of the main innovators in the market, offering quality and elegance at an affordable price.

A select 100 people or so gathered in Antwerp for the momentous occasion.

However there was a little teasing on the way to the moment of truth, which included a series of events aimed to reflect Wintermans passion for this iconic brand.

The day started out at a fashionable bar and workshop venue close to the centre of Antwerp, where the assembled crowd was divided up in to four groups. To occupy the senses and mind a series of work shops had been organised to echo the Café Crème ethos of passion for life and excellence.

The four workshops took the form of coffee, chocolate, wine and dance.

Belgium is famous for chocolates and the workshop lead by top chocolatier Erik Goossens showed off the art and why the country leads the wa.....
