    Enforcement

Responsibility for enforcement of all tobacco legislation lies
with individual local authorities around the country and their
    Trading Standards Officers (TSOs).

An organisation called LACORS exists to coordinate consistent
enforcement throughout England (other bodies do the same in
Scotland and Wales). LACORS will issue guidance to local
authorities on how regulations should be enforced. AITS and
ITPAC hope to be allowed to see this guidance so they can
    assist the trade with compliance.

Please report any unexpected requests from TSOs to your
cigar suppliers, who can then clarify any issues through
    industry contacts.
